Ukraine is expanding its energy financing programs to assist businesses and housing cooperatives in achieving energy independence. The enhancements stem from improved terms under the state initiative "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%." Director of Small and Medium Enterprises at Globus Bank, Oksana Shulha, outlined the latest updates.
Shulha explained that borrowers can now secure loans for energy equipment at a 0% interest rate for the first year, substantially broadening the scope of financing for energy projects.
“Today, energy independence is essential. Businesses need to operate continuously, and residential buildings must ensure the basic comfort and safety of their residents. Thus, the improvement of energy loan conditions and the expansion of financing avenues are particularly timely,” Shulha remarked in an interview.
