Nvidia Introduces Auto Shader Compilation for Gamers
- Auto Shader Compilation minimizes wait times for gamers
- Feature compiles shaders during idle periods
- Easy activation through Nvidia App settings
Nvidia has launched a beta version of its GeForce App aimed at enhancing the gaming experience by reducing shader compilation wait times. This update introduces an innovative Auto Shader Compilation system that kicks in when your machine is idle, allowing it to prepare the necessary shaders in advance.
This feature aims to lessen the need for runtime shader compilation following driver updates, benefiting users with the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver 595.97 WHQL. Although disabled by default, users can easily activate it from the Graphics Tab under Global Settings, allocating disk space for precompiled shaders and adjusting resource usage as needed.
Gamers can also manually trigger shader recompilation whenever necessary, making their next gaming session smoother and more enjoyable.
