Serhii Kuiun, director of the A-95 Consulting Group, recently addressed the true impact of rising fuel prices on food costs during a broadcast on Kyiv24.
Kuiun emphasized that the fuel component in the pricing of goods, particularly food items, is negligible. He remarked, "In Ukraine, there is a tendency to attribute all price increases to rising fuel costs. In reality, even significant fuel price hikes do not drastically affect prices across the board."
This insight suggests that other factors play a more critical role in determining the cost of food, challenging common perceptions among consumers.
