Microsoft is officially discontinuing its Surface Hub 3 collaborative touchscreen displays and has canceled plans for a successor, according to industry reports. Introduced in 2015, the Surface Hub aimed to enhance office collaboration with its built-in PC functionality, available in sizes of 50 and 85 inches, priced at $8,000 and $20,000 respectively.
The announcement marks the end of a product line that has seen updates throughout the years but ultimately could not sustain its market presence. The discontinuation comes after significant changes in Microsoft's Surface division, notably following the departure of its former Surface head, Panos Panay.
