Meta has unveiled its new Forum app for iPhones, transforming Facebook Groups into a separate platform enhanced by an AI chatbot. This move is akin to an AI-driven revival of the previous Groups app, which was discontinued in 2017.
With the Forum app, users can quickly search for and share advice directly within their specific Facebook groups, circumventing the need for external queries on ChatGPT or Google.
After logging in with a Facebook account, Forum seamlessly imports group memberships, providing a personalized feed filled with posts from familiar groups along with recommendations for additional groups.
