Instagram has launched a new app named Instants, designed for Snapchat-like photo sharing. Currently in testing phases in Italy and Spain, the app allows users to send disappearing images that can only be viewed once within a 24-hour period.
Available on both iOS and Android, Meta has yet to disclose plans for a desktop version or a possible expansion to additional regions, including the US. Instants is reminiscent of the previously introduced "Shots" feature in Instagram messages, further aligning the platform with ephemeral content trends.
