Starting April 1, 2026, Ukrainians will experience several important changes, including a new pension adjustment, updates to disability payments, and the launch of applications for veteran sports programs. Here are the key financial updates for April.
Key Information for Pensioners in April
Pensioners who are still working will see their pensions recalculated in April. Automatic increases will apply to those who:
- Have accumulated 24 months of insurance experience as of March 1, 2026, following previous pension designation or recalculation.
- Have gained up to 24 months of insurance experience after their previous pension designation or recalculation, with more than two years elapsed since.
Additionally, some pensioners may face payment suspensions. Those living in temporarily occupied territories must notify the Pension Fund by April 1st regarding any lack of payments from Russia to prevent interruptions.
