A recent study by sociologists Anuschka Peelen and Jochem Tolsma at Radboud University indicates a notable trend in the Netherlands regarding climate change opinions. Contrary to common beliefs, the research illustrates that differences in perspective have not widened over the last four decades; instead, there is increasing consensus among the Dutch population.
The findings also highlight that educational backgrounds do not contribute to a widening divide in views on climate issues, further supporting this surprising agreement among diverse groups.
