The newly announced Bloodmoored is a first-person psychological horror game set for release on PC next year. Players will navigate through an abandoned industrial complex that once belonged to their father, encountering various spirits along the way – not all of whom are hostile.
In Bloodmoored, exploration and puzzle-solving are key. The game features an array of puzzles, including physical, logistical, and spatial challenges, all intertwined with the decaying machinery within the factory.
Developer Stormdrill explains that the ghosts represent lost souls caught between life and death. They exhibit varied behaviors, and players must discern which spirits pose threats and which can aid in survival. Each ghost has its own narrative that influences gameplay.
