The Ukrainian Defense Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced a significant increase in the procurement of engineering mines and drone ammunition. Over the first quarter of 2026, the defense forces have received more than 50% of the total quantity of these weapons supplied throughout the entire previous year.
This ramp-up in procurement is part of a broader strategy to enhance national defense capabilities.
