Government Updates Military Reservation Criteria
- Transition period for businesses lasts until late summer
- New salary threshold set at 25,941 UAH for reservations
- Frontline region companies maintain existing threshold of 21,618 UAH
The government has updated the criteria for military reservations for eligible employees, introducing a transition period until the end of summer during which all current exemptions remain valid. This decision allows businesses to adjust to the new requirements without the risk of losing staff. Minister of Economy Oleksii Sobolev shared this update via Facebook.
Revised Salary Requirements for Reservations
According to the minister, the Cabinet has raised the average salary threshold for employee reservations to 25,941 UAH. Companies have three months to validate their critical status under the new rules. However, businesses located in frontline regions will retain the previous salary threshold of 21,618 UAH. Additionally, regional military administrations and ministries must reassess their criteria for determining business criticality.
