Hidden Bank Fees You Should Know About
- Banks have introduced new fees for previously free services
- Customers may not realize they are being charged
- Watch out for overdraft fees despite having no funds
In recent years, banks have rolled out several fees to monetize services that were once considered free. Many customers may be unaware of the specific charges they incur. Financial expert and Wallet Pro founder Igor Dyyshel highlights these lesser-known fees.
Fee for Exceeding Account Balance
One notable fee applies when attempting to withdraw an amount surpassing your account balance. In a recent video on the Wallet Pro YouTube channel, Dyyshel explained that this fee is also applicable during card transactions.
For example, Sberbank charges a fee of 3 UAH after the second unsuccessful attempt to withdraw or spend more than what is available. If you only attempt this once per day, no fee is incurred. However, it's important to note that this fee can also apply if your account balance is negative.
