Microsoft has announced that its upcoming Xbox Showcase will emphasize competing gaming platforms. Xbox chief content officer Matt Booty confirmed during the Official Xbox Podcast that players can expect transparency regarding the availability of games across different systems, likely featuring logos of other consoles like PlayStation.
While the company has hinted at exploring exclusives, many titles have been in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The Showcase will reinforce this commitment to cross-platform gaming, particularly with anticipated releases such as Fable and Halo: Campaign Evolved.
However, Booty stressed that there will be no updates on the next-gen Helix console during the event. The focus will remain firmly on showcasing the games and fostering the development teams behind them.
