Witcher Developer Teases Future Mobile Game Release
- CD Projekt Red partners with Scopely for a mobile game
- Release planned for later, not in 2026
- Scopely known for rapid, iterative game development
CD Projekt Red, the developer behind the Witcher franchise, has entered into a collaboration with Scopely, a Saudi Arabia-owned game developer, to create a new mobile game. However, fans will have to wait, as the release is confirmed for a later date and is not expected in 2026.
During a recent earnings briefing, joint-CEO Michał Nowakowski emphasized the ongoing nature of game development, indicating that reaching satisfaction on both ends is crucial before finalizing the product. While Scopely is recognized for its fast-paced development style, the iterative process will dictate the timeline.
This partnership, announced in March 2025, aims to leverage CD Projekt’s established franchises, signaling exciting prospects for the mobile gaming landscape.
