Valve Seeks Feedback on Steam Deck Ratings
- Valve introduces tools for developers to assess game performance
- Players can provide feedback on Steam Deck's Verified ratings
- New tools aim to improve game optimization and user experience
Valve's Steam Deck remains a standout option for portable PC gaming, with ongoing developer support enhancing game functionality. Recently, Valve introduced two innovative tools designed to help developers monitor game performance on the Steam Deck.
The first tool aggregates frame rate data from consenting players, displaying a rolling 30-day average to identify any negative impacts from recent patches or updates. Initially available for Verified games, this feature will soon extend to those categorized as Playable.
Secondly, users who engage with a game for over 10 minutes can submit feedback regarding its Verified status. This feedback mechanism allows players to voice concerns over factors like performance and stability, facilitating better game evaluation and certification.
