Racial Profiling Drives Deportation Efforts

New findings reveal a concerning trend in U.S. immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, spearheaded by Border Security Czar Tom Homan's aggressive tactics. An investigation by The City highlights that, despite competitive demographics, ICE has been disproportionately arresting Latino individuals in New York City. Between October 2025 and mid-March, a staggering 93% of the 430 street arrests involved Latinos, who represent only 66% of the undocumented population in the area.

This raises alarming questions about the methods used by federal agents, as many of those detained weren’t even the initial targets of the operations. Such practices reveal the increasing reliance on racial profiling in Mass Deportation initiatives.
