Supergirl is set to play a pivotal role in the future of the DC Universe, particularly in the upcoming film Man of Tomorrow. During an interview, DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran declared that she is "a major part of what we’re doing." Although her specific involvement in the film remains under wraps, her character was introduced in 2025's Superman, showcasing her complex dynamic with Clark Kent, portrayed by David Corenswet.
Scheduled for release in June, Man of Tomorrow depicts Supergirl's adventures following the events of Superman and includes encounters with notable cosmic figures like Lobo. Additionally, the film will see Superman teaming up with Lex Luthor to confront Brainiac, with production having begun recently.
