In an attempt to clear up confusion, Sony is elaborating on the capabilities of its AI Camera Assistant featured on the Xperia 1 XIII. This tool does not edit images directly; instead, it suggests enhancements based on factors like lighting, depth, and the subject in focus.

Upon aiming the camera, users receive four options to improve their photos, including adjustments to exposure, color, and background blur. Although the company claims the assistant can recommend the "most photogenic angle," the demonstration primarily highlighted zooming in rather than changing angles, prompting questions about its effectiveness.
