Capcom has unveiled details regarding a new action-oriented minigame in Resident Evil Requiem. However, players must first complete the main campaign to access this mode, encouraging a full playthrough before diving into this additional content.
Game director Koshi Nakanishi noted, "It's a minigame based on battles from the main game. For those who've cleared the main story and feel hungry for more fun, this is your chance to enjoy an exciting experience!" Producer Masato Kumazawa has confirmed that the minigame will unlock only after finishing the campaign for the first time.
This innovative feature complements Requiem's two-protagonist approach, where Leon S. Kennedy's sections shift the gameplay dynamics significantly in the second half, enhancing player engagement.
