Independent Studios Launch Nova Assembly Cooperation

Five independent game studios have joined forces to establish Nova Assembly, a collaborative initiative aimed at supporting each other's development and marketing efforts. This coalition includes Sad Cat Studios (known for Replaced), Unfrozen (developers of Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era), along with Weappy, VEA Games, and Game Garden.
Nova Assembly is designed to mitigate challenges in the gaming industry, such as layoffs and increased uncertainties, by pooling resources without merging the individual studios. CEO Denis Federov highlighted that this collaboration will allow the studios to share expertise and optimize resource use while preserving their creative autonomy.
The studios published an open letter detailing their commitment to mutual support, emphasizing leveraging each other's strengths to enhance efficiency and foster innovative solutions in tackling industry challenges.
