- Automated data entry minimizes errors and saves time
- Various expenses eligible for tax deductions include education and healthcare
The State Tax Service, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has launched a new service allowing individuals to submit their annual income declaration and apply for tax deductions through the Diia portal. This initiative aims to streamline the process, as stated by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesia Karnauk, on May 20.
How to File Your Annual Declaration on Diia
The system automatically populates fields with data from the tax authority’s databases, thereby reducing errors and expediting the filing process. So far this year, 176,000 citizens have reported their income as part of the declaration campaign, and 57,400 have applied for a refund of personal income tax.
