Kojima Productions is actively searching for a compelling new villain for its upcoming game, Physint. The project, codenamed "Shimmer," is still under wraps, but casting details have emerged, indicating a search for individuals to portray various key roles.
Among the intriguing character descriptions is that of a villain with a German accent, known for a slim physique and a quiet demeanor, yet exhibiting an intense disposition reminiscent of "Mads Mikkelsen in Hannibal but with flair." The casting team is also looking to fill roles including a mother with a baby and a group of teenagers, centered around a bus hijacking incident.
As production ramps up, early phases have already begun, with some roles previously secured. The first poster for Physint was unveiled in September 2025, showcasing initial cast members Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe.
