- Developer Build a Rocket Boy aims for redemption after a troubled launch
- The update, delivered via user-generated platform Arcadia, expands gameplay
The revival of MindsEye is underway as developer Build a Rocket Boy attempts a substantial comeback. Following a rocky launch, marked by staff layoffs and allegations of internal sabotage, CEO Mark Gerhard is now releasing new content and lowering prices for the game.
The recently launched Blacklisted update introduces a new mission centered around Julia Black, a skilled assassin on a quest to dismantle a criminal network. This content is designed to resonate with players, offering a brief yet engaging gameplay experience.
As part of the update, MindsEye's price has been permanently reduced to $34.99 for the Standard Edition and $47.99 for the Deluxe Edition. Gerhard emphasizes that this update marks just the beginning, with plans to further expand MindsEye through its integrated user-generated content platform, Arcadia.
