Intel Unveils Powerful Gaming PC Chips

At Computex 2026, Intel introduced its G3 Extreme chip, designed specifically for handheld gaming PCs. Featuring 14 CPU cores and a 12-core Arc B390 GPU, this powerhouse promises to deliver impressive performance, capable of running many AAA titles at low to medium settings with frame rates exceeding 60 fps.
Alongside the G3 Extreme, Intel is also debuting a more modest Arc G3 chip, sharing the same CPU configuration but equipped with a less powerful 10-core Arc B370 GPU, likely delivering 10-20% lower performance. The G3 Extreme is expected to debut in devices like the Acer Predator Atlas 8, which will include 24GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.
With these advancements, Intel aims to significantly enhance the portable gaming experience, stepping up competition in the handheld market.
