Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh has firmly ruled out a return to his abandoned Star Wars project, The Hunt For Ben Solo. Despite recent leadership changes at Lucasfilm and Disney suggesting potential revival, Soderbergh simply stated, "Nope," in response to inquiries about revisiting the concept.
Soderbergh clarified that the film's initial idea originated from star Adam Driver and expressed no regrets about the time invested in developing it. He emphasized, "It’s just good for you to be in that room and working on it." Yet, recognizing the project's unlikelihood, he has moved on and is focused on new endeavors, stating, "If it was gonna happen, it would have happened."
Now, Soderbergh is eagerly diving into fresh creativity following this chapter.
