Crimson Desert has received a major update, version 1.04.00, from developer Pearl Abyss, which introduces several exciting features and enhancements.
Among the most notable changes are the new difficulty settings, allowing players to choose from Hard, Normal, and Easy modes. The Hard mode dramatically increases challenge, modifying combat dynamics and making health recovery more strategic. Meanwhile, Easy mode provides a more forgiving experience.
The update also brings much-anticipated storage improvements, such as the Sturdy Gatherables Chest with 1,000 slots for materials, and the Kuku Cooler for food items, both integrating seamlessly into the housing system. Furthermore, players can now adopt birds as pets, alongside five new cat types, significantly enriching gameplay options.
