Activision has announced several exciting details about Modern Warfare 4, set to launch on October 23. The game will feature revamped multiplayer progression options designed to cater to different player preferences.
In this new installment, players will have the choice between two distinct progression paths: classic or regular. The classic prestige system allows players to reset their progression for increased XP and exclusive rewards, while the regular path enables players to restart without losing their create-a-class content.
Additionally, the game promises an open-beta phase prior to its release, marking a shift as it will no longer support older console generations, specifically PS4 and Xbox One. Modern Warfare 4 will be available on new platforms including Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC, featuring a rich campaign and diverse multiplayer maps.
