Brandon Sanderson, the acclaimed author, has shared that he will resume work on his upcoming novel, Ghostbloods, in July. Currently tied up with various projects, including a screenplay for Apple TV and board game adaptations, he reassured fans that his writing timeline remains intact.
Sanderson confirmed, "Ghostbloods is scheduled for December 2028, which means that I need to turn it in December 2026. While he acknowledges the challenges of balancing these obligations, he remains optimistic about meeting his deadlines.
This new installment in the Mistborn series will explore themes set in the early computer age of the 1980s, marking a shift from previous eras. Additionally, fans can look forward to a collaboration in the form of a board game titled Shards of Creation, set to launch this week.
