Baldur's Gate 3 Expands with New Novel Series

Nearly three years after its release, Baldur's Gate 3 continues to captivate its fanbase with exciting new stories. A fresh publishing initiative from Penguin Random House aims to deliver a series of books based on the game, starting with Baldur's Gate 3: Astarion, a prequel novel slated for release on September 29.
This upcoming book, penned by T. Kingfisher in collaboration with game writer Stephen Rooney, explores Astarion's dark past under Cazador Szarr. Fans can also look forward to an audiobook narrated by Neil Newbon, who voices Astarion in the game. In addition, two other titles, Baldur's Gate 3: The Necromancy of Thay and The Official Baldur's Gate 3 Coloring Book, will be available in July and August, broadening the franchise's narrative universe.
