RPG Studio Spiders Ceases Operations After 20 Years

Spiders, the studio behind the acclaimed title Greedfall: The Dying World, has announced its permanent closure. Based in Paris, the studio confirmed that it will cease all operations as it undergoes liquidation.
In a candid statement, Spiders expressed, "After a long period without clear answers, we confirm that Spiders is being liquidated. This means the company no longer exists, and we are sorry that it has come to this. We sincerely thank everyone for their support over the years."
This announcement follows financial difficulties faced by Spiders' parent company, Nacon, which recently filed for insolvency. However, the Greedfall: The Dying World DLC is still set to be released through Nacon, and the studio’s Discord channel will be transitioned to the community.
